I've been slowly making my way through the Department of Education Norm-Referenced Assessment list and the vast majority are deisnged for School settings and don't have an option for Homeschoolers to purchase. Those who have dived a little deeper than I have so far, what real options from the State list can we count on working for this PEP program that are relatively easily administered? Are there any tests we should request approval for that fit the build but are more tailored to our Homeschooling Situation (FTC Private Schools can request another test with reasons why that test is a better fit for them)?

I know in the past, a Home Education Instructional Program we were part of offered standardized tests in a group setting for parents who wanted that as their annual evaluation, using TerraNova (given to each student at their level and administered by a qualified evaluator, who has since been approved as a Choice Navigator so that she can continue to do so for PEP students). I am sure there will be Home Education Instructional Programs all over the state offering similar opportunities, especially with PEP now in play requiring a test. This would be one way for parents to easily satisfy the testing requirements.
I don't know if this answers your question but we've done MAP testing theough Family Learning Alliance. It was "proctored" online and we took it at home in our dining room. My guess is that we'd have to pay out of pocket to this private testing facility (not the test manufacturer) and be reimbursed.
