It all started 40 years ago when a mom had an idea, and it's grown strong ever since.

Jason joined the Home Education in 2023 as a consultant for Marketing and Communications. His core passion is strong families and his desire to preserve parents' rights and their freedoms in educational choices. He was instrumental in bringing HEF to the modern forms of communication and we're happy to have him as our Home Education Lobbyist to carry the torch Brenda passed.

Brenda Dickinson
Brenda Dickinson and her husband, Craig, helped pen the bill with Representative Daniel Webster that became Home Education law when it was finalized in 1985. For over 40 years, Brenda was an unwavering voice in Tallahassee holding our legislators accountable to parents' rights in education. We truly wouldn't have home education rights the way that we do in Florida without her. On this podcast we hope to keep her legacy alive so that all may know their roots.
