FPEA's Mission & Vision
​The Florida Parent-Educators Association exists solely to serve homeschooling families in Florida. It executes that mission through support for the legal right to homeschool, local school board education and interaction, support group networking, a state convention, local conferences and events, informative communications, and individual encouragement, all in accordance with Judeo-Christian principles.

It all started in the 1980's
Before FPEA was called FPEA and before HEF was called HEF, the work was simply being done by people who had a heart for educating their own children in their own way at home. The Florida Parent-Educators Association has existed solely to serve parents' rights to choose for their families. They do this through supporting the legal right to home educate, supporting local board education and interaction with support group networking, state conventions, local conferences and events, informative communications and individual encouragement. And we are glad that they are supporting our lobbying at the state capitol to give Florida parents the voice we need.
