Hello. My name is Paige Jackson and I am a Florida certified teacher. I have been teaching middle and high school math in the Brandon, FL area since 1997 in both public and private schools. I homeschooled my son from 8th grade through high school. He graduated in 2018, but I have continued my work with homeschoolers in my community. I currently teach mathematics to homeschooled high schoolers with the HSLDA Online Academy (virtual high school academy based in Virginia). I also serve as a Learning Coach for Strike School (based in Oregon). Strike School uses the FLVS Global platform for homeschooled students to complete coursework. My area of Florida has an amazing homeschool community. We have countless opportunities for homeschoolers to meet/learn alongside fellow homeschoolers in the surrounding area (Riverview, Valrico, Lakeland, Tampa). I was once a member of and taught science for the Tampa Bay H.E.A.T. And, I have had the privilege of completing homeschool evaluations for students across the state since I do them virtually via Zoom, Google Meet, and Facebook Messenger.
