2026 DONATION MATCH CHALLENGE
In 2025, we launched our first ever Donation Match Challenge, and families from all over Florida participated as a home education sponsor issued a challenge to raise $6000, and if we could do it they would match it. AND YOU - PARENTS OF THE FREE STATE OF FLORIDA - CAME THROUGH! We created a Challenge Coin that was sent out to all of those families that participated to commemorate that moment. ​

We're following the theme of this year as the 250th birthday of our great nation and freedoms we all hold near and dear.

This combination of the State, Capitol and beneath it is a book symbolizes the foundational role education and law play in holding up everything we value. For us. everything starts with the most local governance, education, etc., and that's the home and the parents rights.​​

We advocate and support Home Education across the state of Florida and have done so for 40+ years at the state level, locally, to connections beyond primary and secondary education, for those with disabilities, for those who just want their freedoms to embark on their own unique approach. The kids are yours and the freedoms to raise them your way should be too.

Thank you to ALL OF THE PARENTS who support our work. You are AMAZING! For those who have directly benefited from our work recently, it's been an honor and pleasure to continue to carry the torch Brenda carried for 40+ years. For those who have not benefited directly recently, we're thankful that you keep the torch light and bright as we continue to stand for parents across the state.
If you're not yet familiar, we have a DISCORD SERVER and it exists to serve you. No, there's no cost. Yes, there's a channel for EVERY COUNTY in the state. YES, you can organize on local matters like school board meetings, candidate campaigning, and socials (because yes, homeschoolers are social).
Our Message on Freedom.
To help get your inspiration going.
We cannot always agree on everything. In fact, that is one of the most beautiful things about our founding fathers, and home education itself. Go your own way. Do it yourself. Own the results. As parent educators, we naturally are the cultural subset of society most comfortable with going our own way. We think critically, and often times that means we judge harshly when it comes to what we see others do in our community.

Yes, we're talking about the scholarship. Whether you believe it's good or not, it is here. Whether you believe parents should take it or not, it is here.
​
The greatest threat to our freedoms does not come from the Capitol, but from the fracturing of our community. Scholarship, no scholarship, private school, hybrid, co-op, no co-op, classical, Montessori, unschool, college, no college, charter school, public school. We all have one unifying concern.
​
This is NOT an endorsement of the "homeschooling scholarships" or "school choice." It is an acceptance that this is the landscape we find ourselves in and must navigate. This is a call to look beyond those things and see mothers and fathers daring to grab at freedoms and authority to which they were previously numb. To ally with those who have awakened from abdicating their parenthood to the nearest public asset. This is a reminder that we all struggle and that life is messy, and that if we focus on that which makes us different we lose the strength of unifying on that which makes us the same.

We are the parents. Educating and raising the children is our duty.
​
The state does not own our children. We are the parents, and our authority is the ultimate authority when it comes to raising, educating, and establishing their paths in life. We need to stay focused on what truly matters, celebrate the opportunities and successes of others without contention or jealousy, and come alongside each other to be a watchful community, never giving an inch when it comes to the power of our decision-making. ​
