FREEDOM
IS FREEDOM
OR IT AIN'T
FREEDOM
Give Us Liberty...
In the sweltering heat of Philadelphia in 1776, a group of visionaries penned a document that changed the world. They didn't just claim political independence; they declared that certain truths were self-evident. They believed that liberty wasn't a gift from a king or a permit from a bureaucrat—it was an inherent part of being human.
Today, we carry that same torch.
Parenthood is Unalienable
There is a growing, noisy sentiment in our modern world that suggests our children are the property and responsibility of the collective—that they belong to the state, the community, or some abstract "greater good."
To that, we say:
-
Our children do not belong to the government.
-
They do not belong to the state.
-
They belong to the family.
As parents, we don't just have a "preference" for how our children are raised; This is not some trendy wave of pro school choice and options that can more easily cater to our preferences.
No, we have a sacred duty and an unalienable right to direct the lives of our children, their education, and their upbringing.

Education
is not a right.
It is the duty of every parent.
We are the first line of defense for their hearts and minds,
We are the luminous guide to shed light on their path,
We are the ultimate mentor to shape their resilience and work ethic,
We are the parent, and where we stand that means something.
And we make no apologies for standing in that gap.

FREEDOM TO EXECUTE OUR DUTY
Our Message on Freedom.
We are our own worst enemy.
We cannot always agree on everything, in fact that is one of the most beautiful things about our founding fathers, and home education itself. Go your own way. Do it yourself. Own the results. We naturally are the cultural subset of society most comfortable with going our own way. We think critically, and often times that means we judge harshly when it comes to what we see others do in our community.
Yes, we're talking about the scholarship. Whether you believe it's good or not, it is here. Whether you believe parents should take it or not, it is here.
The greatest threat to our freedoms does not come from the capitol, but from the fracturing of our community. Scholarship, no Scholarship, Private School, hybrid, co-op, no co-op, classical, Montessori, Unschool, College, no College, Charter School, Public School. We all have one unifying concern.
This is NOT an endorsement of the "homeschooling scholarships" or "school choice." It is an acceptance that this is the landscape we find ourselves in and must navigate. This is a call to look beyond those things and see mothers and fathers daring to grab at freedoms and authority they were previously numb to. To ally with those who have awakened from abdicating their parenthood to the nearest public asset. This is a reminder that we all struggle and that life is messy, and that if we focus on that which makes us different we lose the strength of unifying on that which makes is the same.
We are the parents. Educating and raising the children is our duty.
The state does not own our children. We are the parents and our authority is the ultimate authority when it comes to raising, educating and establishing their paths in life. We need to stay focused on what truly matters, celebrate the opportunities and successes of others without contention or jealousy, and come alongside each other to be a watchful community, never giving an inch when it comes to the power of our decision-making.
